The selection of air compressor installation site is the most neglected by the staff, often after the purchase of air compressor to find a place at random, and then use after piping, there is no prior planning. However, such hasty results, but the formation of future air compressor fault, maintenance difficulties and poor air quality and other consequences, so the appropriate installation site is the correct use of air compressor system prerequisites:
1. Choose a wide space with good lighting for operation, maintenance and repair. In the compressed air station, the number of piston air compressor or screw air compressor should be 3-6. For the same quality and pressure air supply system, the type of air compressor should not exceed two kinds. The number of centrifugal air compressor should be 2-5, and should use the same model.
2. Choose a place with low air humidity, little dust, fresh air and good ventilation, avoid water mist, acid mist, oil mist, dust and fiber environment.
3. According to the requirements of gb50029-2003 design specification for compressed air station, the heating temperature between machines in compressed air station shall not be lower than 15℃, and the temperature between machines in non-working hours shall not be lower than 5℃.
4. When air compressor suction port or unit cooling air suction outlet is set indoors, the indoor ambient temperature should not be more than 40℃.
5, if the factory environment is poor, dust, must be installed with pre-filter equipment, to ensure the service life of air compressor system parts.
6. When a single compressed air station with air discharge equal to or greater than 20m3/min and total installation capacity equal to or greater than 60m3/min, it is advisable to install lifting equipment for maintenance, and its lifting capacity should be determined according to the heaviest part of air compressor unit.
7. Reserve passageway and maintenance space. According to the requirements of gb50029-2003 "design specification for compressed air station", the width of passageway between air compressor and wall should be 0.8-1.5m in accordance with the displacement volume.
8. Compressed air storage tanks should be arranged outside and on the back of the machine. The clear distance between the vertical air storage tank and the external wall of the machine should not be less than 1m, and should not affect lighting and ventilation. For gas storage tanks with oil content of less than 1mg/m3 in compressed air, they can be arranged indoors if they have difficulties in outdoor layout.
